Polypropylene Surgical Mesh

I have used the Sutumed, small pore, heavy weight polypropylene mesh for inguinal hernia repairs and am now writing a very supportive product review. I learned about Sutumed just 2 months ago and needed some 3×6 inch, 6×6 inch, and 12×12 inch pieces in a hurry and called Sutumed and received them within the week. I used them on a medical mission in Guatemala and found them easy to use, no different from the more usual polypropylene meshes from other major manufacturers, and therefore, I would recommend this mesh for inguinal and selected umbilical and femoral hernia repairs. This mesh handles well, can be cut for specific shapes and sizes, and caused no obvious problems in the multiple hernia repairs performed. And it is quite more affordable than the other brands.
